A car accident caused more than 4,500 people to lose power Thursday, with an estimation that power will not be restored until Friday morning. A vehicle accident caused over 4,500 people to lose power due to a dump truck accident, causing power to be restored by 6:30 a.m. on Friday. The power outage occurred near 100 2nd St. and Rocky Mountain Power reported that the restoration of power will occur around 6:00 a.M. for the first time.

A vehicle accident caused more than 4,500 people to lose power Thursday, with an estimation that power will not be restored until Friday morning.

Ogden police said the accident occurred near 100 2nd St., when it was reported that a dump truck hit a power pole.

Rocky Mountain Power posted on X, formerly known as Twitter, that estimated restoration of power will be around 6:30 a.m. on Friday.
