Trial dates for Tyler Robinson may be included in November scheduling order
Tyler Robinson's jury trial is still not scheduled, and although there will be more information on Nov. 9 about the schedule for the case, the judge did not make a promise that his order on the issue would include jury trial dates. Trial dates for Tyler Robinson, the alleged murder of conservative political activist Charlie Kirk, may be included in a November scheduling order. Fourth District Judge Tony Graf stated that if trial dates are not set, there will be no "frozen period," meaning other trials will be scheduled. The judge expressed concern about Robinson's and the Charlie Kirk family's right to a speedy trial. Attorneys submitted general timeline proposals for the case and discussed some aspects of them during a three-hour hearing. Robinson's attorneys estimate it will take three years to prepare for the trial, which they estimate will last seven months. The Utah County Attorney's Office anticipates a 17-week trial and is proposing the trial start Jan. 31, 2028.
