Utah weather: Mild weather before active weather returns for Halloween weekend
Apart from a few overnight showers in the north, this week will be mild and dry. Wet weather returns by Friday across the state and a cool soggy Halloween weekend is in the forecast. Utah's weather is expected to remain mild throughout the week, with temperatures reaching the low to mid 60s for most of the state, while mountain valleys will remain in the mid 50s and warmer spots in the south reaching the upper 60s. Most of the day will feature mostly sunny to partly cloudy conditions, while a weak disturbance could bring a few light showers into Northern Utah overnight. However, by sunrise Tuesday morning, these showers are likely to have moved on. There is a slight chance of more overnight precipitation into Wednesday morning, but these will likely be very light showers that don't hold past sunrise. Later in the week the first hints of change will be from a southerly breeze ahead of an incoming storm system, and cloud coverage will increase from north to south. On Halloween, isolated to scattered rain showers will be on-and-off, and temperatures will be in the 50s for the usual warm spots.
