More than 6,000 customers across Salt Lake County lost power Monday morning in an outage, according to Rocky Mountain Power.RMP officials said they were aware o Rocky Mountain Power (RMP) experienced a power outage in Salt Lake County early Monday morning, affecting over 6,000 customers across Midvale, Salt Lake and Sandy. The outage could take up to nine hours to repair, but officials estimate it will be restored by 3:30 p.m. The cause of the outage is currently under investigation. Those affected can receive updates by texting "STAT" to 759677 or visiting the company's website.
