'Spread the word and respect the police tape': Officials remind hikers of Bridal Veil Falls trail closure
Officials are reminding the public to stay off the Bridal Veil Falls trail following a rockslide that closed the area early for the winter. Officials in Utah have closed the Bridal Veil Falls trail early for the winter due to a rockslide. The Utah County Sheriff's Office stated that the road between the lower and upper parking lots is closed due to construction and the trail is closed from the falls to the lower parking lot at the Nunn’s Park turnoff from US-189. The upper overlook parking lot is still open, but will close for winter on Nov. 1. The North Fork Fire Department (NFFD) has urged Utahns to spread the word about the closure and to respect the police tape. The closure is part of a $7 million, years-long construction project that began in September 2025.
