The suspect is believed to have flown into Salt Lake City on June 3 and began checking car doors in the airport’s parking garage when he found the car unlocked with the keys inside, allowing him to steal the car. The car is valued at about $234,000. Detectives are asking community members for their help in identification of the suspect.

SALT LAKE CITY (ABC4) — Police are asking for the public’s help to identify a man they believe stole an unlocked Lamborghini from the Salt Lake International Airport.
The Salt Lake City Police said the owner of the 2023 blue Lamborghini Urus parked the car at the Salt Lake International Airport on Saturday, June 1. When the owner returned on Sunday, June 9, the car was missing.
Based on a preliminary investigation, police believe the suspect flew into Salt Lake City on Monday, June 3, and started checking car doors in the airport’s parking garage.
“When the suspect came across the Lamborghini, he found the car unlocked with the keys inside, allowing him to steal the car,” SLCPD said in a press release.
The Lamborghini is valued at about $234,000.
Detectives with the Salt Lake City Police Department’s Airport Division and Auto Theft Unit are asking community members for their help in identifying the suspect. Anyone with information on the case is asked to contact the Salt Lake City Police Department at 801-799-3000.
Police also remind the public to always lock their cars, roll up windows, and never leave valuables or keys inside their car.
