Cashmere and American Physical Society Partner to Bring AI Discovery of Physics Research to Libraries and Industry
Partnership brings agentic AI discovery of American Physical Society’s physics research to library and industry Cashmere, the platform that enables premium content publishers to safely monetize their catalogues for AI inference use cases, has partnered with the American Physical Society (APS), the professional society representing over 50,000 physicists worldwide, to bring APS's physics research to agentic AI applications. The partnership allows APS to license its physics catalogue for agentic discovery and inference while retaining full control over which content is made available, to which platforms, and under what terms, with the underlying research held within Cashmere’s air-gapped, ISO 27001, and GDPR-compliant infrastructure. The collaboration reflects a shift among scientific and academic publishers towards licensing models that keep copyright holders in control as agenticAI becomes an increasingly common gateway to research.
