Walker Kessler admitted he was too emotional in his return to Utah
Lakers center Walker Kessler didn't play well in his return to Utah on Sunday, but his new team did come away with a win. Walker Kessler returned to Salt Lake City for the first time since he was traded to the Los Angeles Lakers in a sign-and-trade deal in July. Despite finishing with two points, seven rebounds and one block, Kessler was able to secure a 132-123 victory for the Lakers, improving their 3-0 record. Kessler's presence, at 7-foot-1 and 245 pounds, forces teams to adjust on both ends of the court. His ability to block shots and protect the rim allows his teammates to be more aggressive defensively on the perimeter.
