Utah's advanced technology ecosystem brings aerospace, composites and elite sport together ahead of the 2034 Olympic Winter Games Utah's advanced technology ecosystem, 47G, USA Bobsled/Skeleton (USABS), Albany Engineered Composites, Hexcel and Nammo Composite Solutions, have announced a partnership to develop next-generation cowlings for USA bobsleds ahead of the 2034 Olympic Winter Games. The partnership was announced at 47G's annual Zero Gravity Summit in Salt Lake City, part of Hard Tech Week. The collaboration allows athletes, engineers, manufacturers, and innovators to explore how advanced materials developed for some of the world's most demanding applications can be applied to elite sport. The technology behind the partnership has applications far beyond the bobsling track, providing strength, durability and low weight to modern aerospace and defense applications.
