Merge Electric Fleet Solutions and Utah Clean Energy (UCE) are leading efforts to reduce emissions from the US’s largest greenhouse gas contributor: the transportation sector. The organizations are offering a Fleet Electrification Analysis, at no cost, to a select group of fleet managers in Utah. The analysis will identify which vehicles are best suited for electrification, what charging infrastructure is needed, what the up-front and lifetime costs and savings will be, and what the implications are for reduced greenhouse gas emissions. Applications are now open. Merge's mission is to deliver the economic, environmental and experiential benefits of electric vehicles in comprehensive solutions.

Salt Lake City—Merge Electric Fleet Solutions and Utah Clean Energy (UCE) are spearheading local efforts to tackle emissions from the United States’ foremost greenhouse gas contributor: the transportation sector. The two organizations are providing a comprehensive Fleet Electrification Analysis, at no cost, to a select group of fleet managers in Utah. Applications are now open.

“From delivery vans, to shuttles, all the way to heavy-duty diesel trucks, helping Utah’s fleets ditch the tailpipe represents one of the biggest opportunities to clean the air and curb climate change,” states Kelbe Goupil, Utah Clean Energy’s Senior Associate-Electrification. “Medium and heavy-duty trucks in particular have an outsized impact on air quality, so we want to do everything we can to empower our fleets to make the switch to electric.”

Conducting a thorough fleet analysis is an essential step in the process of fleet electrification. A fleet analysis will help to identify which vehicles are best suited for electrification, what charging infrastructure is needed, what the up-front and lifetime costs and savings will be, and what the implications are for reduced greenhouse gas emissions.

“These data-driven insights empower fleet managers to build vehicle and infrastructure deployment plans and prioritize the actions that make the biggest difference,” states David Eckels, VP Products, Merge Electric Fleet Solutions.

• Economic Breakdown by VIN: Understand the financial implications of electrification with tailored economic analysis for each vehicle, considering potential savings, incentives, and projected return on investment.

• Charging Needs Analysis: Develop a plan for seamless electric vehicle integration with a detailed assessment of a fleet’s charging infrastructure requirements.

• Government Incentives: Take advantage of financial incentives designed to support fleet electrification efforts.

• Cutting-Edge Technology: Embrace the latest innovations in electric vehicle technology that often improve the operator experience.

• Environmental Impact: Contribute to cleaner air and a healthier climate by significantly reducing emissions.

• Fleets with a primary base of operations located in Utah.

Applications are evaluated on a continued basis, and funding is limited so apply now. Visit https://bit.ly/fleetapplication to apply. For questions, contact Kelbe Goupil, Utah Clean Energy Senior Associate, Electrification at [email protected].
