SALT LAKE CITY, UTAH (GOOD THINGS UTAH) — In honor of World Autism Awareness Day, Liduvina and her mother, Migdalia Burgoin, joined us on the show to shed light on the remarkable breakthrough in communication that has transformed their lives.

Lidu was diagnosed with Autism at age 5 and spent most of her life with limited speaking abilities, leading many to underestimate her intellect and potential. One of Lidu’s remarkable talents lies in her artistic abilities, which she has cultivated since the age of two. Art served as her original form of communication, allowing her to express herself creatively even before discovering RPM. Today, she specializes in glass paintings and custom shoe designs, showcasing her unique perspective and creativity. Her self-portrait titled “Liduvina Singing,” is currently being judged at the national level.

Dalia shared that Lidu’s intelligence surpasses that of the average adult, a testament to the untapped potential within non-speaking individuals. She shared the importance of presuming intelligence and understanding in non-speaking individuals, urging listeners to recognize their capabilities and provide opportunities for expression.
