The CEO of Salt Lake City-based Cotopaxi, Lindsay Shumlas, reflected on the unpredictable year of 2025 and plans to focus on the future of the company in the coming year. She was promoted from the CFO and COO role to CEO in December 2024 after a period of difficult times for the brand, which included downsizing its workforce and introducing a dedicated resale program and partnering with Snow Peak on pop-up shops in urban centers. She highlighted her priorities for the future as a priority is ensuring teams stay aligned, efficient, and connected to the cause.
