Hurricane Valley Fire & Rescue authorities said they were dispatched to northbound I-15 at mile marker 28 just before 10 a.m. on Saturday, June 8, on reports of a brush fire.
Crews arrived on the scene and gained control of the fire before it could grow.
The blaze was reportedly started by a vehicle that had pulled off the roadway after it was involved in a crash.
No injuries were reported in this incident.
