Neighbors clean up after devastating floods in Hurricane two months after previous flood
People who live in a Hurricane neighborhood are trying to clean up and move forward after devastating floods ripped through Thursday morning. Neighbors in Hurricane, Utah, are cleaning up after devastating floods that left over 100 homes and RVs damaged. The floods occurred just two months after a previous flood. Sheena and James Carter, who live in the Pecan Meadows area in Hurricane with their five children, described their devastation as "defeated" and "long and slow" as they anticipate a difficult holiday season. The city reported that over 100 houses and RV were impacted. The Carter family had just begun repairing after their home flooded in August. They are now trying to salvage what they can in their home but worry about further damage due to the forecast of rain.
