The crash occurred at the intersection of Redwood Road and 1700 South around 11:30 a.m. on Monday morning. The Salt Lake Police Department reported that a car driving south on Redwood Rd ran a red light and hit a car driven east through the intersection, causing the second vehicle to spin out and hit an e-biker. The road was closed in both directions and commuters were advised to avoid the area and use an alternate route. No other injuries have been reported.
